I've used evoscan to log but haven't used the gauges. I watch the values while logging and it is real time so I imagine the gauges are real time as well. I'll try the gauges next time my cable is hooked up.

I looked at a few from the car PC sites but to be honest I didn't look at newegg or anything. I think I read the review on the board/cpu combo then ordered off amazon because they had it cheaper and they did Saturday delivery. All the other boards I saw were underpowered and didn't support HDMI. I needed the board/cpu combo to run Centrafuse, Bluetooth, music, GMPC and any other apps without stuttering. I felt this one was the best price for the power and peripheral connections.

*Be aware this board has a 24pin power connection requirement. When I bought my PW Supply I think it was a PICO originally it only had a 20pin connector. So I had to spend another $80 on the PW supply listed on the first page.

Is the Garmin Moble PC just a plugin that runs with Centrafuse? Or is it a stand alone GPS software you are running?

Stand alone, but people have created plugins to integrate it into centrafuse.
Centrafuse does have a nav version of their own but I didn't like the layout based on the screenshots they give, but I have heard other people like it.

I hate the Centrafuse Nav. I use iGuidance with a modified AppLoader plugin. It integrates the iGuidance pretty well into Centrafuse.

The base upgrade to 4 is $50 I think.

TOralliart: im glad I haven't upgraded from 3.6 if there are bugs with 4.0. Guess Ill extend my wait time to 6months before upgrading.

The cables are what did me in.....I was in a rush so instead of buying online like I should have I went to best buy and radioshack. Big mistake..I probably went over $150 just because of that.
