OEM radio head unit problem

Okay guys i finally decided to take my evo to the dealership either tm or next week to fix my passenger side speaker its getting real bad I searched online and read that its the stock radio head unit not the speaker itself. Anyways my main concern is im modded and their is no way i can put my stock parts back on because i sold them, i know that i soon as they see my exhaust, test pipe intake etc they are gonna go crazy. My question is can they void my warranty? The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states that they have to prove how my mods messed up my radio and their is no way in hell my mods did anything to my radio, not even my cobb, if i have to ill bring up the act because i know they might try and act dumb, so guys what do you think?

Thanks for reading

Edit* Ive been doing a lil more research and found out about the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act

Why not just bump your original thread, instead of create a new one??

And if you're seriously that worried about getting flagged, just drive the 3 hours to South Coast Mitsu and be done with it.

I have a similar issue, I'm off the factory warranty and now i'm on the extended warranty but i'm curious to know what the outcome was for you.
