Yes, I'd recommend it. The only wire to hook up is the microphone. Mine is clipped on my visor. Everyone tells me it sounds great, and it was a snap to run around the a pillar and behind the very front of the headliner. I have an iPhone 4, and it connected easily.

No, iPhone doesnt support mirror link. I just press and hold the button on the phone and say "Call Mike, Mobile" through the BT mic and it dials. I havent looked at the phone book.

Oh, I thought it mirrored and worked with the iPhone. I am going to call Crutchfield next week when I return from vacation & see what they say about purchasing this HU with regard to what I'm specifically looking for. Thanks for your info!

nice unit. Altho i am not interested in one, it is nice to finally see a HU like that with detachable face.
