Question iPhone's wont sync to my car Bluetooth

For some reason no iPhone will sync to my car. It used to sync with no issues but for the past few months it's been having connection issues.

I tried an iPhone 4s and even a iPhone 5! But my wife's android phone will connect

Anyone know of a solution for this? I'm sure one of these new updates caused this problem

Note: Below is a picture of the error I get when I try to sync.

You have to use one of the buttons on the steering wheel to resync your phone to the car. Im not really sure which one but I remember doing it when I got my car 2 years ago. I did it right at the dealer before I drove off. Im sure its in the owners manual.

I know how to sync the phone... the problem is iPhone's will not sync to my cars Bluetooth for some reason. It used to sync with zero problems before all these updates for iOS 6 came out.

Try turning off your Bluetooth on your iPhone. Then back on. Then turn your car on. You'll see on your iPhone that it is trying to connect. Then touch the hands free button on the iPhone screen. That might do it.

I've had to that once since getting my new Evo about two weeks ago.

Do you have a case on your phone? I experienced this whenever I have any case on my phone. I don't think the Bluetooth antenna is strong enough. ex. I will have my case on and i will do everything to try and get it to connect. As soon as I start taking my case off it connects.

Well I think I figured out the problem because it's working now.

I just held my phone right up to the radio and it synced! Is the iPhone Bluetooth signal that week or is it my car?

So we'll see how this goes over the next few months.

Well so far so good. It's been syncing with no issues.

If anyone else is having this issue just hold your phone closer to the radio.. that's what worked for me.
