HID no idea

Ok I'm new to my evo only got to drive it a week and a half before going back to work for 3 weeks. Question I have may sound dumb, but how can I tell if I have HID lights? I mean seriously I just have no idea.

I'd like to replace my stock bulbs with a whiter ones just not sure which I need to look for manual shows numbers for low and high beams, but the car I guess has low/high beam bulbs.

2010 GSR

And manual gives no number for non HID bulbs.

Check to see if you have projector or reflector housing. Projectors look like hte light is coming out of a glass ball. and reflector housing is a lot of shiny metal with a bulb in the center like on most standard cars. And hid's are a lot brighter

The halogens are 'yellow-ish' so I suspect this what you have. Consider Sylvania SilverStars (or doing an HID conversion).

Just watch as someone else turns the lights on. Quickly lit and yellow-ish are halogen. Slow to come on but bright with a blue-ish tint? You have HID.

Turn your headlights on while facing a wall, if they are HID, you will see them 'warm up' on the wall where they'll start dim and yellowish and then brighten up to bright white in 1 or 2 seconds. If they are not HID, they will be (pretty much) instantly on and give off a slightly yellow tint.

Anything that is between 4000k and 5000k will be white, I recommend 4500k. Do not get 3000k lights otherwise they would be super YELLOW.
