I just got a delivery of 2013 Evo X, I bought it of IAAI (us insurance auctions) ,
It's a heavily modded Evo X MR , 2013
the original key was lost during shipment, I had the key cut, but no dealer tool can flash the RFID chip, it throws a programming error, AUTEL,MUT you name it, we tried.
when I set key to RUN , fuel pump powers on, but starter relay is not engaged,
If I engage starter relay manually, there is no-spark/no-fuel condition.
it is tuned and some signs tell me it might have a kill switch or something of the sort.
the signs:
when I press the cruise control cancel button, the fuel pump powers on,
Radio says "Wrong Phone Bit*h"
It is flex-fuel, car has an innovate alcohol sensor in the back, currently showing 30, assuming evaporated E85, as it has been standing for at least 3-4 months.
tomorrow someone with tactrix cable will come over, interesting to see what we pull from there,
maybe anyone has the experience, we see that car is trying to read Phillips 46 chp, and we try to erase all keys, but we get Chip Read Error on the correct chip, with incorrect ones we see, an incompatible chip.
note: originally it had the diamond key, not a keless car.
interestingly there are no key-related issues displayed on the screen, or any symbols indicating key issues, except 3 errors in immo ecu, related to failed reading of rfid chip
and new remote works fine, it will lock / unlock and pop the trunk
I managed to read off rom with EcuFlash, confirmed that it is TephraV3 ,
now it is still unclear, why keys cannot be flashed, I tried to disable IMO, with periphery bits, but I suspect xml I found is of wrong sort, as I get memory protected areas issue, additionally I don't think all Periphery bits should be [1]
can anyone share FAA Bits, or respective definition of Periphery bits for Evo X USDM 2013 + (SST)
