I am going to hopefully start to see if we cant get the ROM off our Evo and then send it to Tephra and JSCbanks so they can try and disassemble it. I am sure that we can get it done.

I don't think it will be that long for the 5-speed models, now the SST may be a different story. Hopefully that doesn't take that long either, but who knows?

Cobb tuning has already been on top of this, even before the car came out

I heard that the system is on a CanOpen bus, which is an open protocol with a standards body. I sell a lot of industrial automation equipment that uses CanOpen, and we can probably find some protocol analyzers etc to see whats going on as far as the communications goes. Might also be able to add some neat devices onto the bus to do some fancy stuff (think flashing lights, etc...).
If anyone in their line of work uses Allen Bradley and DeviceNet...DeviceNet is a subset of CanOpen.

I've heard that some of the tuners are going back to the HKS F-Con VPro, and have had good luck with that so far. The ECU flashing seems to be a long, painstaking process as of now, but I'm sure the results will pay off.
