I'm currently testing out the Innovate OT-1, which does both.

Actron CP9185. Logs load cell, IAT#1 and #2 temps, and about 126 other PID's. Also allows me to reset codes, view the tale of the tape logs, and diagnose the different components of the cars system.

As long as your driving an EvoX you could use an MSD Dashhawk (CANBUS only). It'll log, run performance tests, clear codes and show engine readings in realtime. I've tested mine on a EvoX and it does show boost, although not as accurately as a gauge due to the high update speed of the ECU.

Check MSD's website.

It doesnt show Boost in PSI, but it does show MAP, Timing, RPM, Speed, ECU Load, ABS ECU Load, TPS, etc. You can determine boost based on MAP. The downfall with this tool is you only get a short log of 45 frames, which equates out to be log enough for you to do a few pulls. But generally you would just start the log, do a pull, and download to your PC.

I can't get the OT-1 to work correctly.

I think it was rushed to market and would urge people not to purchase it yet.

DashDaq (Drew Technologies), DashHawk isnt bad-but limited compared to the Daq, as for scanning, Actron's are great, but can get spendy. Oh, and use the zietronix WB to mate with the DashDaq, and its like the KY commercials
