You are more likely to be singled out for having bolt-on parts then the flash.

As far as I am aware they do not have the ability to know that it's been re-flashed by just plugging in some diagnostics tool into the OBD port. They would literally have to pull the ROM information and dump/analyze things and then would have to know what to look for.

The latter (flash analysis) is HIGHLY unlikely while the former (bolt-ons) is a dead giveaway.

The flash will not be detected by mitsu dealers, bolt ons will 99% void your warranty and cause the car to not be warrantied. I've had 5 evos and its the same deal with all of them. X'd out, I understand your question was directed towards a Works employee but the man that replied to you IS right and there is no reason to be rude to him.




WORKS, overnight me the hardware so I can flash my car myself and I'll overnight it right back!!! I want to flash my car but I'm really looking to do it myself
