I bought an extended warranty for a reason, but a flash sounds good to go with my mods. Are the dealer techs going to be able to read the flash?

Good question......I would like to know this info also. I've seen various comments about this but more of speculation.

You are more likely to be singled out for having bolt-on parts then the flash.

As far as I am aware they do not have the ability to know that it's been re-flashed by just plugging in some diagnostics tool into the OBD port. They would literally have to pull the ROM information and dump/analyze things and then would have to know what to look for.

The latter (flash analysis) is HIGHLY unlikely while the former (bolt-ons) is a dead giveaway.

The flash will not be detected by mitsu dealers, bolt ons will 99% void your warranty and cause the car to not be warrantied. I've had 5 evos and its the same deal with all of them. X'd out, I understand your question was directed towards a Works employee but the man that replied to you IS right and there is no reason to be rude to him.

WORKS, overnight me the hardware so I can flash my car myself and I'll overnight it right back!!! I want to flash my car but I'm really looking to do it myself
