It says this on your website about the new release of the flash:
"We can finally say that once again, WORKS is the first US tuner to provide ECU tuning/reflash capabilities for the Evolution and Lancer; no piggybacks, no black boxes, no gimmicks—just results"
Is that true?? I don't think it is.

What is WORKS?
WORKS is an automotive engineering, tuning, and racing organization dedicated to enhancing modern sports cars.
Our passion for motorsports and vintage cars includes rallying which was the inspiration for starting a Mitsubishi specific tuning company when the Lancer Evolution was announced to arrive. Brought to you by EVO enthusiasts for EVO enthusiasts, we were the very first EVO tuner in the U.S. beginning development in 2002 with an EVO VII GSR. WORKS is comprised of a dedicated group of Engineers with over 30 years of combined technical expertise in the automotive performance industry. In fact, we are the only Mitsubishi tuner and manufacturer in the U.S. with Engineers on staff. All of our attention and all of our focus is dedicated to one make and a common passion for sports cars.

Works is the first US based company to offer reflash technology for the X. EcuTek beat them to the punch, but they are based out of the UK. So technically works didn't lie about anything. Either way, you really can't go wrong with either of these companies for a reflash, but I will say this: every car, even with the exact same parts, is different and a custom tune is always the best option. I don't personally like mail in flashes because they are often too conservative or too aggressive, so I will be going with EcuTek because this is what my local tuner uses. If I lived in cali and WORKS was my local tuning shop then I would go with their brain flash. Just my .02

I got this from the link:
So it seems that they have ECU boost control and the price is cheaper than ECUtek, but it is an e-mail tune. Dyno tune will probabley be more expensive.
Props to WORKS for being the FIRST to come out with a boost pill for the stock hose to control boost.
Introductory pricing for the Lancer P1 will be $399 and the EVO X P2 flash will have an introductory price of $549 (with WORKS boost hose). We are initially offering these flashes as in-house-only items and will be giving complimentary dyno tuning to anyone who purchases one of our flashes.

We are the originators of ECU boost control since the launch of the P2 flash in 2003 (P1 does not incorporate boost control for certain motorsport classifications and NA cars).
The introductory pricing is temporary and includes "complimentary" dyno tuning which means FREE. We are only offering this for a limited number of customers on-site at Infineon Raceway.
Mail-in flashes will be available very soon.
