HKS EVC 6 Installed... But..
just got through installing the evc on the evo.
Basically the only problem is that I have the fast key system so I cannot tap into the ignition for the 12v power source.
I need a constant 12v line in the engine bay that is off until the car is turned on. If there is a source in the fuse box in the engine bay that would be perfect.
Thanks guys,
Brian

Just use an add a circuit and pull from another switch 12 in the cabin, you already ahve the lines from the display unit running to the solenoid so just follow the same route.
I run all my gauges and gauge control box off an add a circuit on the instrument cluster fuse.

fuse 22 in the engine compartment fuse box is the cruise control and is switched
by the MFI "injection" relay. Might want to look at that.
