Tuner in Eastern North Carolina

Does anyone know any reputable tuners in Eastern North Carolina? I'm putting in a ETS 4" FMIC with upper and lower piping and want to do an Intake and a boost controller but am waiting on the install until I find a place that can tune it for me.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into the Wilmington shop, since it's close by. VA is always an option. I'd love to have an excuse to drive up there.

If you don't mind driving to VA, contact DTM. I hear they do excellent work.

Not sure why you want a boost controller and not use the Evo's built in one.

I want to get a GReddy PRofec-B Spec II that way I can have different boost settings for different driving conditions. I think it would be an advantage to have that kind of control at your fingertips.

ttp
no worries about the link. good luck with the dyno day.

that is one of the reasons i went with the accessport. that way i can switch boost levels and adjust the map accordingly. only takes about 15 sec with the AP.

Does it effect the maps if you aren't using Cobb bolt ons or did you make your own maps accordingly to your mods? I'm not sure if I'm savvy enough to pull that off.

you don't have to use cobb bolt ons but if you do the maps work pretty good from what i hear. i use the race tuner software (cobb gives it away free) to take the maps they make and tweek them some for my setup. it is a little complicated, there are a ton of different maps to change, but with some practice and trial and error i have made several. i just make little adjustments until i am sure what happens when i change a map. i know the stock tune is uber rich so just turning the boost up SHOULD be ok but i like to adjust the maps for each of my boost levels. although i will say i have looked into getting a professional tune as well and it is a little pricey if you ask me and some recommend you just get rid of it and use an open source tuning product. i looked at my options before purchasing it and the ap is best for me esp with the race tuner software.

I need to learn more about it. I'm out of the country 7 months out of the year and am gone 1-2.5 months training, I don't know if I'd be able to pick it up and have time to tweak with an AP.

completely understandable. it was more of a "careful just turning up the boost" post more than anything. not sure if you have seen it, and the guy isnt sure what caused it but it was running higher boost at times with some mild bolt ons on a stock tune and blew up is X.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...r-blew-up.html

good luck and like i said if you end up at national speed look me up!
