Help, can someone identify which reflash I need, just bought Evo X
I am reading more and more info about apparently the 3 current reflashes available for evo Xs. I just purchased mine and it was manufactured in March 08, so far i have babied it for 2 days but get way below normal gas mileage and my idle seems to be just a little bit rough, the needle bounces a little. Which reflash do I need???
Is there an official mitsu number or TSB for it?

just go straight to a dyno tune.... it will improve power greatly AND give you better MPG
they will most likely give you the most recent ROM for your series anyways...
I am not sure about Boston, but there are a LOT of good tuna's on here that will be able to give you great service and decent pricing... check out the "dyno results" sub-forum to get in contact with someone in your local area... maybe direct pm..

I think the last one includes also the prevoius one; in any case go to dealer and they can immediately check.
I'm trying to get that update also here in Italy (for my USDM EVO X) but it seems to be impossible... even if I personally know people from Mitsubishi Italy and I have the MUT-III (Mitsu diagnostic tool) I cannot get the US cd with last updates

Well, getting caught with a tune would void your warranty. It's been said a thousand times on this forum - most often they're not going to be checking your ecu for reprogramming. If you want to feel safe, however, you can go the route of an Accessport from Cobb. You can and should still get custom tuned, but that tune will be removable at your discretion. It's also very handy for having multiple octane tunes stored on one location in case you take that trip and can't come upon higher octane gas.
