It should do - You need to specify return bytes as 2 obviously.

mode23 yeah?

Does the "CALC" function work in the Mode23 area, or do I have to put calculated values somewhere else? I'd check myself, but no Evo10 handy.

Hamish, I've got another question. Is this new 2-byte logging scheme just as fast as 1-byte logging?

it *should* be - the ECU returns the number of bytes requested in the one packet.

so as long as hamish isn't doing two requests then it should be just as fast...

Yeah, that's what I figured. And if it were two 1-byte requests, I think I would have seen some byte mismatch by now.

21st June 2009: EvoScan v2.6 Beta15.zip (see post #1 for download details)
- You still need to install EvoScan v2.5 full registered version first. Available here.
- Updated US and JAP/EU EvoX Mode23 items in data.xml.
- Updated graphing scales in data.xml for EvoX logging.
- CAN logging speed increased.
- Dataitem Editor fixed and now enabled.
- Vista64bit checking, and automatic folder permission setting for Vista.

Work in Progress:
- EvoX CAN formulas work in progress for full release this week.
- EvoX Read DTC and ClearDTC - work in progress.
- EvoX Transmission datalogging - work in Progress.

well i got beta15.zip much better now iam getting my 2.0port cable.
will a log from the evo x will be able to be use in dataloglab?

no need for datalog lab, just use Evoscan Power / Torque graphing .. I used it today on my Evo4, it perfectly shows 191kW which is about right. Give it a good TPS/RPM log, and select your gear, it works great.

Yes please, I have not had any feedback yet, please let me know how it goes. and if I need to modify any of the settings or formulas, etc.
