It's totally bizarre as sometimes I can get it to read a little higher as well depending on how warm the car is, possibly "sensor drift" based on it's temperature where my max is anywhere between 26.6 and 27.0 psi. I'll test to see if my second boost controller that I normally have set to a lower boost also hits a "brick wall" in adjustment and see what kind of boost spike a restrictor line to the Forge WGA induces and if it makes any difference as well.

It's not the end of the world as normally I won't run higher boost on pump gas but running mostly blind on race gas is still uncomfortable.
I just did a quick log in 2nd at WOT as i dont have my wideband hooked up () but my evoscan wont show the data logs in my Saveddatalogs folder.

If you can point me in the right direction to get those showing up then ill tell you But it was over 1.83475 bar (26.97psi)

Well they should be under this path:
C:\Program Files\EvoScan\EvoScan v2.6 Beta99\SavedDataLogs\

It appears that each version of the Evoscan Beta software is now creating a new base folder so look around using explorer or do a search for all "SavedDataLogs" folders. You could also do a search for the specific file, by default they all start with "EvoScanDataLog" and then the "_2009.08.06_timestamp" is a date and timestamp format.

Likely you were over your previous boost levels if your boost gauge indicated higher than normal boost, but we'll need to prove what the logs said in the raw CSV excel files to learn anything about the EvoScan logging limits of boost.

Looks to be pretty much what you are measuring. Can you post the part number on your MAP sensor?
Ok here is the part number off the MAP sensor:

1865A052

3

The rest of the numbers didn't seem important but I wrote them down anyways. After a quick google search it does in fact appear to be a 3 bar MAP sensor so something else is either limiting the output enroute to the ECU or the ECU itself is capping the value somehow. I may follow the wiring path and see what kind of resistors or other electronic gadgets are inline before it reaches the ECU.

It doesn't make sense for there to be any resistors in the wiring, and there are none in shown in the factory service manual wiring diagram. The only way it could be getting clipped would be in the ROM code. The easiest way to determine this would be to attach the 4.5 V signal as I described in an earlier post. You could even skip the part about measuring the supply voltage level, so your total investment would be maybe $1.99 for the battery pack at RadioShack. :-) I may see if I can get my friend who has an Evo 10 to stop by this weekend to measure it myself.

Ok, I'll see if I can perform this test. In the mean time I'm going to look into a new boost gauge that will read to 35 psi and be accurate within .5 psi if possible. Thanks for helping how to figure what is going on here and hopefully I saved someone engine damage if they were assuming the logged boost numbers weren't clipped somehow!

my Prosport Premium Electronic boost gauge reads to 30psi and is accurate to a T compared to my logs.

Exclamation Big Oooooops!

Ok guys this will get a laugh or two...

I found the issue, and it was between the steering wheel and the recaro seat!

Turns out the potentiometer that I placed between the sensor and ecu as an experiment about 8 months ago was limiting the outout voltage even though it was zeroed out! As soon as I sent the signal directly to the ECU my logs now read 29.9-30.0 psi peak at 4500 rpms, basically dead on to what I thought they might be!

I guess we are all capable of making mistakes once in a while, sorry for the false alarm!

Now to run some 11's at the track in this perfect boost friendly weather!

Anyone have a better data file for the USDM 2010 Evo 10 / RA?

So far I have these items logging correctly in Mode 23:

RPM
Load
TimingAdv
PSI
Knock SUm
TPS
MAT
Speed
