Not enough to warrant the price.

Unless you buy a filter you can clean instead of replacing the OEM when it gets dirty.

I hit 302whp/300wtq on a low reading dyno dynamics with intake, boost pill, test pipe and catback on 92 octane Baseline on that dyno is somewhere between 205whp -210whp for the X's.

Nice to see that dyno in line with ours.

185-200 for an MR

205-215 for a GSR

Most dyno dynamics ones I have seen are very close, people that run those usually aren't too concerned with peak numbers but more so great tunes (not that people without them don't do great tunes) since they usually leave them unmolested (no screwing with settings).

Seems like the tune (and boost pill) is the most important upgrade and that catback, filters, TP, UICP, etc aren't adding much after that. What is next mod that would add significant HP/TQ? IC upgrade? Full turbo-back (that replaces O2 housing)? or ??

We gained 35whp with the addition of the cosworth mx1 cams/re-tune on our dyno.

OK. Several good responses. THANKS!

Now, I'd like to change the questions slightly. I had asked what would it take to make 300/300 on an X. The variation would be, what would it take to make 300/300 at the lowest boost level possible on 91?

IOW, instead of turning up the boost for more power, how could an X make 300/300 at less boost, say, 18 psi?

18 psi peak is less than stock.

You would need more octane for that goal most likely

Got a question too (on 91 oct):

Based on GST dyno sheets, average peak from a tuned all-stock X is around 285whp (w/ pill). If you add a drop-in filter (say a Cosworth) & a 3" dual catback (like Magnaflow) on top of a custom tune, how much more peak whp will it add? Would it be close to 300whp?

I'm hearing a lot of people say that a panel filter does not yield any gains after a custom tune, but if you pair that with a catback, would the filter actually help extract more hp?

From all the reading and google-ing I been doing it should hit 300whp. If it didn't hit the mark you may have to add a down pipe to the list
