From one of the other Torque limiter threads that applies to Airflow limits as well. If you are getting the limp mode at 80-90% throttle column at 5500 RPM then likely you just need to increase that number more. That is unless you have increased that number so much that it's TOO high in which case adjust it downward again. The stock turbo starts limiting flow at 5500 RPM's assuming 26 psi boost so that could be what's going on. Those numbers are target values based on TPS and there is an acceptable range above and below that will still avoid limp mode.
As far as I know you need to bump up the "Airflow Check #1 - #3" and the "Torque Limiter #1-#3" tables up a bit for throttle positions that have the potential to exceed ~15 psi in any gear. This ends up being the 34.9% throttle to 90.2% throttle columns on the charts at 1500 and beyond. On the stock turbo a good guide is to bump the 34.9% column +15 and for the 40.0% column about +20. Peak changes should taper upward by the 90.2% column at around +30 or +35 at the torque peak which is around 3500-4000 even with aggressive mivec changes.
Leave the other numbers alone as changing them can cause other issues to crop up such as not enough airflow being detected and throw your car into a limp mode where no boost is allowed.
On a slower spooling turbo I ended up having to undo some increases at 1500 and 2000 and not really increase the values much until 2500 or at WOT and low RPM in 4th/5th it would enter Limp mode. Overall my entire right side of the chart is shifted down 500 rpm's and so far has been working great with changes of about +20 in the 34.9% columns increasing to about +60 at the torque peak of 4000-4500 range. I also have less taper towards the higher RPM's in my charts to account for the fact that the turbo doesn't fall off as much like the stock turbo.

I ended up experimenting with keeping the 60.4% column at 250 limits from 3500 - 8000 and interpolating the 50.2% column towards the 40% column, so far no error codes have resulted and I'm not sure it was necessary.

Considering this is a self tune thread, I will add that logging in 4th gear is very different than 3rd. Different load cells are hit at different times. I would recommend logging in both gears and adjusting the maps as necessary. I am now running a little less timing up top compared to my first post. I'll report back when i'm comfortable with the numbers.
Also, 20 degrees change in ambient temperature as well as some more humidity changes the whole ball game.

In short...
Advance intake down low and taper it down towards redline
Retard exhaust and taper it up to zero towards redline.
Try gunzo's map, hiboost's, and Bryan@GST posted a nice intake map. See how the power varies between the three and build one of your own.

How far in retard are you guys going with your exhaust mivec? Is anything greater than zero yielding any power? I know Bryan said that he has yet to see gains, but how far up should you take the tapper?

I am using your MIVEC right now, so far it seems pretty good.
I have my boost turned down right now, but the spool is definitely quicker, even than the JDM MIVEC table.
Unfortunately, I haven't done any comparisons with other maps yet. I've been working on getting my MAF Scaling and Boost dialed in before I start working out the rest.
