I have the hks black limited edition and it is vented and i have never had any issues with codes, idling or boost spiking. I love it. I ran it with the pipes off the licp and works fine.

 

I have HKS VTA on my 08 GSR before the tune i got some idailing problem and spiking 30psi and ASC pop out every time i hit that 30 psi...But after Dyno tuned my idialing problem is gone.But i notice a boom sound occasionally when i let go i bit on gas on my exhaust boom thats after the tune..And my boost spike are still there at 30psi my ASC is popping out this happen on fast shifting and hard gas 3G 4g.but no engine check light or limp mode just ASC im used to it so illl keep hammering it my car is tuned 25psi maybe next tuning i ask my tunner to lower the boost or fix my boost table or disable my DTC...

I mean that's like stuff figured out 15 years ago?
