I'm gonna try the Wally using the how to that "Meat" has on the other board. He uses a foam liner for the pump to secure it which I also believe will quiet it down as well.

The foam liner is available here:
http://apeusa.com/html/kits.html

I am guessing it won't degrade in the gasoline as this appears to be a specialized product.

The stock pump is $400 if I'm not mistaken so the wally is a no brainer. However, I do have the issue of filtering the fuel. I know that UR has a plug and play HP fuel filter that bolts to the fire wall and has factory style connectors that sells for $150.

If anybody has a more sensible solution than the UR Fuel filter please let me know.

Edit --> Or I could do this...http://jnztuning.net/shop/catalog/pr...oducts_id=1506

Anyone know anything about the F2000 newer style pump?

In all honesty I would turn off the LTFT affecting WOT and "retune" the AFR to hit your current target and see if it helps.

How is your IDC lower at 10.8 AFR than 11.6 AFR?

tsitalon1, what is the difference in ambient temperature between the first & second run? I get similar results (but not as drastic) when comparing summer and winter runs, during the winter it runs leaner but the injectors are working harder.

First run was 32 deg or so, second was 65 deg or so.

Yeah Bryan, I was wondering the same. I am aprehensive of swapping the pump as I am not sure if that is an easily reversible mod. Can anyone confirm this? I think I'll take your advice and disable ltft wot affect and see what happens. I do know that it will lean out and I will have to retune.

Ah okay, for me the difference was around 32 degrees and 96 degrees ambient temp. AFRs off around 0.3 or so and IDC around 2-4%.

Yeah, I seem to be getting considerably more variance.

I am trying to enable the LTFT mod that disables LTFT from affecting WOT as Bryan suggested. I have followed the thread pertaining to it yet I cannot get this to show up in my rom.

My Rom is 52680018 and inheirits 0015.

I have placed the following code in 0018, 0015 and even tried the evo10base. (not all at once of course)

Can anyone assist?

I used the following code:

Code:
<scaling name="LT Trim Hz" units="Hz" toexpr="x*6.25" frexpr="x/6.25" format="%.2f" min="0" max="1593.75" inc="6.25" storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>
<table name="Closed Loop - LT Trim Control" category="Fuel" address="5557f" type="2D" level="2" scaling="LT Trim Hz">
	<table name="Conditions" type="Static Y Axis" elements="4">
	<data>Low -> Mid</data>
	<data>Mid -> Low</data>
	<data>Mid -> High</data>
	<data>High -> Mid</data>
	</table>
</table>

Got it working, thanks Tephra. It's a little to late to test tonight, will test tomorrow.

LTFT mod in place. I also richened the A/F map by about 4% from load 90-300

Temps were 58 deg and it was raining.

Tune here:

Log attached.

I don't think it made much difference in IPW really...

well it wont make any difference in IPW because you added 4%.

the point was to make a much more stable base to work from.

now you can lean out the map slowly and not worry that the cruise trim is adding different amount of fuel each run..

whats the go with the pump replacement?

Bryan suggested I try this first, so I have not bought it yet. I also need to know if replacing the FP is a reversible mod on the X. I know that the built in filter cannot be used, I don't know if the install requires permanent modification.

I am ready to pull the trigger on a new pump though
