High IDC at 7k - stock turbo
#122
Hey guys,
I made three pull 1 this morning, 2 this afternoon. The results look almost identical to me.
Tephra, I unchecked a few items being logged but cannot uncheck anymore and still get the IDC logged. My sample rate is 110/sec. Is that not good?
Logs attached...
Whitewind, I will do a 2nd pull soon, as for 4th gear, that'll be tough due too the speeds in 4th, don't want to go to jail you know.

Hmm why is your first pull (on last page) seem not right. If you add it into vdr says some crazy #'s for that pull like it was in 2nd. Thats weird.... Maybe its me I have not gotten any sleep in awhile.
Oh it was a pull from 2nd and then went 3rd pull my bad. But see last logs are third now.
Man just food for thought here, what about blowing back into your tank make sure nothing is in line make IDC go up. Might have take the filter off so you don't no trash gets in there. (engine back to the tank)
Think there is a clog somewhere making everything work harder. IDC^? Man this is weird.

Whitewind do you have any logs with IDC or IPW that i can see?
I guess there is a possiblity of a restriction in the line, but I wouldn't think so, I am experiencing NO driveability issues. I agree this seems weird but only if my logs look significantly diffent than others logs at this load level on stock injectors at 7k.
I'm gonna rip out the intake track this weekend and check for cracks or leaks.

Small update:
Blew compressed air from the fuel line at the motor towards the tank and captured the fuel using a bottle, no debris was found.
Also, found the FPR vacumn hose a little brittle on the manifold side with very small internal cracks. Replaced the hose and reset my ECU, but it made no difference in my logs.
Felt to lazy to pull the intake and look for leaks.... I plan on still doing this and also plan on measuring voltage at the pump under load.
If these two things don't pan out, I can either replace the FPR (68.00) or just go buy some injectors (470.00)...Tired of fu&%ing around with it.

Man right now I don't blame you at all. Here is what I got.
TPS RPM load cell timing PSI
95.10588 6480.469 209.375 17 21.07031
IDC LC-1
87.80625 11.3043
I can’t find my other logs going to 7500rpm (with IDC or IPW)but this should be good because next couple RPM IDC dropped couple % anyways.
Man I would just buy injectors myself then man might as well not going hurt anything. One less Mod down road you know.

I don't know, very perplexing.
My initial gut feeling was to just buy injectors and everryone shot me down. I understand why as I seem to have higher IDC than anyone else at the same load levels, but I can't find a problem anywhere.
Granted I have a few other things to tidy up like voltage measurements and small exhaust leaks, but I think in the end it will most likely be larger injectors that resolve the issue...Unless someone else has another idea.
I am waiting on my BLUE relay, maybe that'll make a diff. I doubt it though as I am running a GREEN one now.
