97 Octane?
I'm a little noob into tuning stuff.. actually I just bought my first Evo X a month ago..
The thing is, I'm from Qatar, and here the pump gas is 97 Octane (I believe it's a good thing right?).
I would love to get a Cobb AP but there aren't any maps for 97 Octane I suppose. What shall I do? Can I do a mail-in tune? thanks in advance.

Would it be a big mistake if you use a 93 octane tables on your car then fill it with 91?

You should try the 91 first, make sure that one does not knock. Then if it is ok, then you can try the 93 to see if that one runs ok.
See, if the 91 map doesn't work, the 93 map will not be good at all to your car. You are using different gas than we do, so Tephra is making sure you are safe.

And yea, how would I know if this is the right map for me? either way I'll have more power than the stock maps... is it easy to notice the difference between 91 and 93 maps?
Thanks everyone
Sure, yours is still stock?
