How to flash car after COBB?

Question How to flash car after COBB?

Hi
Have some problem with flashing EVO X
Car was flashed by COBB and now car has new owner w/o COBB flasher

Reading log by ecuflash :

And then i try wrote stock rom from other car :

Can someone help with this problem?

You will either need to UNmarry the AP with the car.

OR use an ECU Bench to write your new ROM over the top...

Cobb has such function? They flash car with stock rom, but ECU still locked(
will try to find cobb from this car...

oh sorry - I thought an AP was used to flash the car?

if Cobb tuned it then probably the same deal.

either get them to put the stock tune back on, or ECU Bench it yourself

intersting thing, that car has stock rom now, but ecu still locked(
mm, any manual "how to bench it"?

If Cobb flashed the car, then they most likely used an AP.

Even the "stock" map from the map selection is a stock REPLICA map, with their locks in place. There is an option to uninstall on the AP, and this will flash the original map (which is saved when you first install) back onto the car. Process takes about 5-10 minutes, very simple.

Find the Accessport that was used to flash car

go to the option UNINSTALL

uninstall and have Stock ecu again

And as a bonus, have a AP that is not worthless and can be sold for $450+
