Check your electrical connections. See if they got loose. Also check your boost solenoid and see how much resistance it is pulling. If its pulling more resistance then a normal stock bcs, then that would be giving you weird readings.

Try a new one is all I can come up with. If you by chance have a MBC, you could try that to see if anything else is causing the issue.

How's this for a theory?

If the BOV is no good, and it is opening the valve in an untimely fashion, would it not cause something like this? If the BOV was opening and closing continuously, wouldn't you see the kind of boost graph as stated above?

Again, I'm a complete noob and am just thinking out loud.

Well, its a decent point for a self proclaimed noob

If the 3 port was hooked up the BOV line like people like to do in vaccuum line reductions, it can take just enough pressure from the top of the BOV so that the boost in the piping can open it just a bit. Ideally, the pressure source here should be the J pipe / turbo outlet nipple.

On bigger turbos this is usually audible, but I'm not sure about the OPs case.

Hey guys,

The pressure source is the Turbo outlet nipple. Also the BOV is fine.....how do I know?

I switched back the factory solenoids and the boost is much more stable!

I still have to fine tune the EC, but things are much better now.

Sadly, I don't think I can get the 3-port warrantied because it was bought new off of eBay about a month ago.

I guess I'll use the factory solenoids until I get my FP Turbo.

Looks like you got a bit too technical for him but good answer.

Swap-tronics would have been the easiest to suggest since installing the old BCS helped things out.

Far from to technical, just easier and more definitive to swap back to OEM solenoids.

Not sure why you seem to have an attitude. I don't need to retune, simply reload my previous rom.
