I have bought a bunch of stuff threw them but not a tune. They know what they are doing and have been around for a long time. Lots of info on there site too.

I wish they would respond to their e-mails!

I would like to contribute to their vanity license plate page and asked if they had any RRE license plate frames and a windshield banner.. no response

But enough of my complaining back to the matter at hand.

^Yup, MR's need to be even pickier with their choice in tuner than the GSR guys do.

If everything goes as planned and I get my springs early Friday morning, actually in a few hours I'll be going there today to have springs, sway, and roll center installed. I'll let you know how it goes, but I have heard a lot of good things. For a tune I was looking into Loony Tunes. But I'm still keeping options open.

Mike at Road Race Engineering has been the exclusive tuner on our Evo for the past 2+ years. We've been through a few other shops and have stayed with Road Race because they have always treated us right and Mike knows these Evos inside and out.

Here some info on the car he's worked on for us (yes it is up for sale now):

Hopefully that will make you more comfortable taking your MR there. Go see them, they'll take care of you!!

Mike W. at RRE has a Ralliart with the SST tranny and a BBK-Full if I remember correctly. He beats the living **** out of that car. He knows how to tune for the transmission, no doubt about that.

I would go ahead and get their SST tranny cooler while you're there as you can not track the car without it. I consider it a mandatory reliability upgrade for the SST tranny.

As for emails, I've learned when dealing with shops to just call them. Like Jim Wolf Technology in the Nissan scene never answers their emails. Why? Because they only have a handful (or less) number of people working. Would you rather have them answer hundreds of emails a day, most of which are stupid, or actually spend that time working on cars?

I'm actually really interested to see the results of this, good mix of parts and a meth kit/SSP 600 kit.
