WANTED: Reputable tuner in NorCal/Bay Area

I'm dead set on parting ways with a certain tuner shop in the South Bay cuz they can't (or won't) solve my cold start problems (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...0-fic1100.html).

Instead of doing a google search on "tuner shops" and blindly picking another shop, I'd like to draw from other Evom members' experience in my search. If anyone's from NorCal/Bay Area and knows of a tuner shop who can troubleshoot or tune 2011+ models flawlessly, show them some love and drop their names here. Thanks and stay frosty, my friends.

I think Razorlab is in the Bay-area. Im not sure if he's currently affiliated with a shop or not, but if nothing else you can rent dyno time somewhere for him to tune your car. Otherwise you could cruise south for SoCal Cobb or BakaUnchi.

Care to elaborate, or better yet write a vendor review, EvoM Guru?

I'm by no means an FFTEC nut swinger, but I am curious to hear what you have to say, since there is pretty much no one left up here.

WORKS
GST
FFTEC
Speed Element
Vishnu Tuning

Who in the San Francisco Bay Area would you trust with your personal car, BakaUnchi?

I wasn't aware that speed element tuned cars since i tuned their Sti...
Mike @ GST is a good dude and a good tuner but i dont know how much he knows about the Evo X

I have a customer who got tuned at FFTEC. He was quite unhappy with the results.

I prefer not to comment publicly about the above guys as i don't want to start a e-peen war. However anyone who wants to PM me feel free.

From what ive seen there is no one left up there that tunes Evo's well anymore now that Bryan is not tuning anymore.

I wouldn't trust anyone to tune my Car up there to be honest, Maybe ill fly up there a few days a week to tune cars :-D

They haven't tuned a car since Andy Chan stopped tuning for them in April of 2008. In fact, my car was the very last car they tuned.

I've heard a rumor that you can get Bryan to come out of retirement for the occasional tune if you have the right people ask him nicely. Not sure though.
