AMS STX400 package... Thoughts?

Anyone have experience with that package? Id go with fuel pump and 1000cc injectors as well as guages and EBCS... But to get started. Curious as to communities thoughts on it.

"The AMS Mitsubishi Evolution X STX400 package provides an amazing 100+HP over stock by taking full advantage of the stock turbo’s potential while maintaining OEM reliability and driveability."

Does this mean you still have the factory warranty?

Me myself would do my own bolt ons and get a custom tune. Simply because no two cars are the same!

This. Regardess of what some people may tell you (even the reputable companies trying to sell you their goods), a custom tune is always going to treat your expensive car better. Buy those bolt ons separately, take it to a good shop, and have them dyno tune it. You'll see much better results, probably for less money.

Like some of the guys already said, it's not worth it. For less than 4k I'm making roughly 365 hp and tq at the wheels with a custom tune from Clipse3gt, a tuner on these forums, and some basic ETS bolt ons.

It all dépends on what you want. AMS STX 400 is a great package with top quality parts. The tune uses the Accessport from Cobb (included in the package) but you can decide not to get the accessport and buy it use from someone here on the forum and you'll save a bit.

If i had a stock car, and i wanted to spend 4k i would definitely look into this package, and just get a pro-tune eventually down the road.

this will void the warranty but i woudn't be afraid with this package.

Yes, modify or altering your car will not immediately void your warranty. As with almost any car, if a part fails they can deny a warranty claim associated with that part by reason of modifications to your car.

So, you can't be denied if you put coilovers on your car and need a warranty claim for a light bulb harness that went out. However, you can be denied a warranty claim if you have a TBE and request warranty work for a an engine related part.
