HKS F-Con Pro

Hi All,

I had an HKS f-con pro fitted to my EVO-X but when it's connected all traction control / stability control etc: does not work. the car runs well, but can not seem to get to the bottom of the problem.

Is this anything anyone has come across? I had to leave shortly after the problem so have not had a chance to really look into anything but if anyone has any experience / ideas of where to start when I get home it would be much appreciated.

Are you running it stand-alone? Or piggy-backed on the stock ECU?
If you're running it stand-alone, you won't retain any of the OEM traction / stability strategies. If it's piggy-backed, as long as those channels are connected via. the jumper harness, everything should work.

Do you have Power Writer software? USB dongle?

I have an HKS F-Con on my Evo VIII MR. I have not had these sorts of issues. My set up is piggy-backed as stated above though.

HKS F-Con Pro is a complete ECM replacement. It's a stand-alone.

A friend of mine had ETS and went to HKS and regrated it since HKS was not fun enough.
