AEM UEGO logging help...
Hey guys, ive been working on this damn serial connection for my AEM UEGO all day and its at the point where I'm getting really aggravated with it.
I followed the instructions here: http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21747
The problem is whenever I try to log it in Evoscan it just shows 0.
Ive tried so many troubleshooting things... I have the bit rate set to 128k, I have it on com port 3, I have evoscan set to read com port 3 and its set to the aem gauge (ive tried all 3 AEM gauge options just for good measure lol, none work at all)
I'm using the gigawire serial->USB cable from radioshack. I installed the drivers before plugging in the cable etc, even tried re-installing the drivers. Cable says its compatible with windows 7 which I'm using. I mean my PC recognizes it and it shows up in my devices..
I figured maybe it was my wiring, but NOPE, I ran a volt meter to the db9 connector I wired up and it reads the correct voltage from the correct pin.
Getting frustrated with it not working and have no idea what to do
today I bought 2 other brands of cables, none of them have worked. Yet Im still reading voltage just fine from the female serial plug...
