Dealer flash ECU on 2008 MR USDM without consulting me- lost tune

Dealer flash ECU on 2008 MR USDM without consulting me- lost tune
The dealer flashed my ECU while in for recall service for the serpentine belt without consulting me.
I had a tune on my car 2008 EVO X MR USDM since 2010. I have not played with ECU tune since then. I have the tuned ROM file that that flashed in 2010. I just installed EcuFlash Version 1.44.4347 on windows 8 computer. Can I just write the old tuned ROM to the ECU with EcuFlash? I'm a novice, my old notes don't seem to apply. I read the ECU flash file that the dealer installed and saved it. EcuFlash did not find a match. I open the the file with XV132 hex editor per my previous notes and went to 50020 address. It looks to be 52690028 ROM ID. I did not find a matching definition XML file at on the Golden EVO. Can someone help?
