Asc off service required help

So this just started today happens when I get on it was reading it is a spike in boost? It turns off when I turn the car off and start it back up and only comes on if I get on it. Would getting a tune fix this?

What you're describing can be due to an overboost condition. Get a scan tool on it and see if you have an overboost code in the PCM, you may have a generic engine control fault in the ABS/ASC also. If this is the case it can normally be remedied with an adjustment to the airflow limiter maps I believe.

Appreciate the info thanks! I just remembered yesterday on my way back to work from lunch I braked pretty hard at a red light camera maybe about 30-40mph to a quick stop, then got on it through the light and it popped on, could it of thrown the Asc off from braking like that? Gonna disconnect my battery and go out and drive it here soon and see if that works
