We have the turbo off. I will try to get pictures of it all. It is a COMPLETE PITA to get the stock turbo out of the car. Not nearly as easy as the EVO8-9. The 02 housing was the same story.

The turbo is marked at a 12cm housing according to the compressor cover. Also marked for the TD05H turbine and it is no longer reverse rotation, which is good for all of us, it will make upgrades cheap and easy. The compressor according to the cover is a 15g.

The 02 housing is horrible. I have some ideas and we are dropping off a drawing to be laser cut tomorrow.

We also put a GT35r back there and building a turbo kit should be easy, I am having the head flange laser cut too.

I feel the same way AMS does. I am not in a hurry to develop a big turbo kit yet. The stock turbo and some upgrades to it are more in line with what the car needs first. Hell it needs fuel management more than anything else right now.

Thanks for the update David. Looking forward to the pics and what sort of gains you can make.

Will this "12T" nozzle housing fit an ordinary 16G twin scroll turbo, if so, which ones?

Crap, just read it isn't a backwards turbo

The turbine housing will not interchange.

There was a lot of material that was needed to be removed from the exhaust manifold, I see good gains coming from port work on the car. The turbine housing also needs some port work and had a very large weird lip inside the housing.

The 02 housing we are not touching, it is really a POS. I hope we can make a nice new part for the 02 housing.

The pictures have been posted in the thread about us getting our EVOX. They are not comparison pics though as I did not have a stock turbo from an 8 or 9 to take pictures of side by side.

At first glance I agree that the compressor housing looks much smaller than the 9.
