Look again at the picture of the cast unit, both the main- and waste-gate exits from the turbo dump into the same downpipe opening. There is no separation so it’s not possible to have a separate waste gate dump.

I understand that. I was basically asking if they were going to make the same kind of unit which is the eliminator with an open dump.

The date of the 1st post is Feb 2008 – it’s almost a year and it’s not out yet. So, even if they do decide to make a open dump, it’s probably not going to be available any time soon.

the only reason they took so long on the first one was because it was a prototype. But once they already have a design for the piping and everything its not that hard to modify it.

Is there a chance that the flex section of the pipe would ever fail? Like a crack or something.

Yeah, WTF? I guess they just put it on the backburner and kinda forgot about it. Just like the dual exit exhaust...

Hey AMS, time to chime in here... I'd rather not go custom but I'd like some assurance that this parts on the way to shelves soon. Thanks!

I don't consider "a month or two" as of yesterday to be "very soon".

And yes, this came directly from AMS sales dept.
