Exclamation Agency Power Short Ram Intake Kit Mitsubishi EVO X 08+

Agency Power Short Ram Intake Kit Mitsubishi EVO X 08+
Model: AP-CZ4A-110 List: $299.99

Hello Everyone!

The much anticipated EVO intakes are here and ready to be shipped out!! here's more info about it.

"Turbocharged vehicles require a couple of simple bolt on modifications to really open up their power and give that engine a great sound. The first most popular product is an intake kit. Agency Power has engineered and tested to release this short ram intake system for the all new 2008 and up Mitsubishi EVO X.

The short ram intake features an aluminum intake pipe with a CNC machined aluminum MAF sensor adapter. The factory MAF sensor fits securely into place with provided hardware. To keep cool air directed to the intake system, AP has retained the factory air inlet scoop similar to the OEM air box. The air scoop snaps into place on our aluminum heat shield like factory. There is no cutting or altering your OEM components. The heat shield is designed to keep cool air going into the intake system. Using the factory rubber grommets and mounting positions, the heat shield will drop into place for a secure fit. AP uses high quality cone air filters for this EVO X intake system. The air filter features a 3 inch front funnel style inlet which is perfect for the direct air flow coming from the front of the car. The filter fits on to the 3 inch intake pipe with a simple worm clamp. The intake pipe diameter is increased to 3.25 inch on one side to fit the factory rubber suction pipe. It can also be used with our aftermarket suction pipe using an AP silicone coupler to connect the two.

By freeing up the air flow, the intake will give your car faster throttle response, increased turbo sound, and as tested on a Mustang AWD Dyno, add approximately 20 Horsepower and 16 Ft/Lbs of Torque. The Mitsubishi EVO X intakes are available in a gloss red or polished finish. The heat shield boxes are powder coated in textured black which also feature our Agency Power badge. This intake will fit all the 2008 and up Mitsubishi EVO X turbo charged cars."

Optional colors are Red or Polished.

Looks nice!! I like the heat shield. I think Agency Power is only company that makes the intake with the heat shield?

The turbo inlet will be a separate piece, this kit comes with the heat shield and it utilizes the intake scoop.

well obviously its 100$ per inch.

I'd say 3800$.

this Agency ARC intake must come with the AFC that was used in the test also.

turbotrix's full intake + filter + ic pipes is cheaper than this 3inch pipe and filter. Also. I don't think these gains are real.

Look at the AFR chagnes. I would like to see a dyno of this on the car. No leafblower running strait into the intake. And no tuning changes this car obviously had a AFC put on it.

I also noticed that you guys gained +30 peak whp. And it was 10DEG hotter when you did it. I would guess if both tests were the same temp it would be more like 35-40whp. Also, how does a car lean out almost a FULL point in 10 Degrees hotter weather. I understand the car is making "more power" but all other tests air filters haven't brought the car up a Full point. The hotter temps should make the car richer. Less dense air, same fuel = richer.

Really amazing filter though. Crazy how that filter made the AFR's a point leaner and much better afr curv. Maybe it is worth $300
