SOUND CLIPS!!! -- RRE 3" Test Pipe Back Exhaust **NO MUFFLER**
Ok guys...
Here are the vids.... The exhaust has a LOW rumble to it..sounds sweet! You should hear this thing on the dyno (video to come) sounds like a plane is about to take off.
How does the exhaust sound?
Keep in mind this is:
Test pipe = 1 resonator 12" and 3" piping
Exhaust = 1 18" resonator, 2 12" resonators.
-------NO MUFFLER------
here are the vids:

****in the first 2 videos rpms were holding at 2k ****
here are a few pics for people to see of the exhaust:
Hope you guys like!

How did you guys make it sound like that? It's incredible! The only exhaust that I've heard that sounds like a 6 cylinder, and not a buzzy 4 cylinder. How, how, how? I'm really impressed, but would be curious if instead of the two small resonators on the exit pipes, how about 2 small (not like the huge cans on the agency power system) mufflers on each pipe. Maybe 6 -8 inches outer diameter, that would be cool, and it shoud sound just like your current system, only quieter. Awesome job guys! Will you be mass producing these, or just custom made on a per-order basis?

Sounds very nice, give us some info on production and price. will you sell the parts if not the whole kit. there probably is a good market for selling all the parts and letting someone find a local muffler shop or welder to put it in. would be alot cheaper on shipping as well.

Essentially, the type of engine and displacement of it along with the size of the turbo (exhaust side) will help define the sound of the exhaust.
I know even on my 1.8T GTi, having no muffler has made it sound as good if not better then full and expensive exhaust systems. Granted, I don't get all the performance benefits. But you guys get the idea.
I love turbo. heh

Well, a turbo 4cyl would never sound buzzy or "ricey". Even with no res and no muffler. Basically, the Turbo diffuses the air flow and acts as a resonator.

If anyone has a link (you know, to save my lazy *** from searching...lol) for either of those exhausts I'd love to hear it.
