Its not the wastegate. Even if we had a wastegate for sale to the public, TTP would not say that the wastegate had a problem.

Increasing the preload on the stock wastegate much as Vishnu has, would accomplish greater results than an aftermarket wastegate.

its pending government approval and is said to be due out late this month early may.

if you dont want to spend the $25 for a k&n cone filter cause youre afraid of voiding the warranty, pony up the $130 for the works drop in filter.

both will take care of the issue 95% (you still get a slight stutter up top in like 4th), just make sure to reset the ecu by unplugging the battery for a few minutes.

i almost have 7500 miles on my car with no issues.
Is resetting the ecu necessary to changing the drop in filter in this car?

Great!!! Could you bring your dealer to Jamaica so I can get it?

I'm not even interested in the reflash really, I'm eventually gonna tune it, once I finish bolting on the parts I want.

I'm just trying to confirm if you really have to reset the ecu (unplugg the battery) when putting in a HKS/Works drop in filter. Is this so???

Thanks.

You don't have to. It is just a good idea.

It allows the ECU to adjust itself a bit to the better air flow with the O2 sensors. Thought the drop in filter makes not the biggest difference or an intake in general. Just a good idea for the ECU.
