Nice runs guys! That shift to 5th looks like it is killing a few mph. I am working with one of my sponsors on my Honda for a longer gearset for the X. I need to get some opinions on what people would like to see out of 4th gear.

Would an IX final drive not work? Seems like it could cure everything if it will fit. I don't know, though, with the changes in the box size, reverse setup, etc.

why does that et/trap relation seems so out of whack.. ive seen really good ratios close to that with absolutely brutal .60s like high 1.4x, and shifting that is far from slow, but that just doesnt seem right.

Its the gearing. Why won't anyone listen to that?

There is no flash tool to raise the rev limit above 7500 yet. This means that the car will only attain 111mph on the rev limiter in fourth gear. An IX at 7800rpm (typical flashed limiter) will do 119mph. An VIII at 7800rpm (typical flashed limiter) will do 126mph.

If you shift to fifth gear, your trap suffers. If you hold fourth, your trap suffers.

Of course NOT. The miles would be higher.

We'll be at Bislo racetrack tonight, everybody is welcome to come and inspect the car. Hopefully after fixing some bugs will do better tonight.

The car is runing 26 psi but in 5th gear we're having problems with the limp mode.

That is an awesome time for that mph. Definitely making the most use of the power you have. They will definitely need more power (ie. MPH) to get 10.99 . Now everyone knows that a good 60' can be obtained in the porker Evo X.

Any weight reduction other than getting rid of heavier stock exhaust parts?
