T1R IC Pipes Installed

Finally got the first production sample of the T1R IC pipes. They turned out better than expected with a brushed finish and red anodization for the traditional Ralliart look. We also got a sample set in purple, but we decided to go with the red first. I'll post pics of the purple later to gauge interest.

Engine bay pic with the IC pipes installed, as well as the prototype T1R carbon engine cover.

That's a lot of money for just an ic pipe. That'a a lot more than the competition. Although it looks like the very beginning of the turbo discharge pipe has been replaced, which isn't the case with any other kit I've seen so far except the ralliart. Looks nice, but I'd prefer mine in brushed stainless or black with black couplings. Looks to be good quality though.

500-600 for just the UICP or is that for the LICP also. Because if it;s for both then it isn't that bad of a price, plus it;s sexiness.

Hi Dave!

You're absolutely correct, the primary difference on our kit, and the main reason for the higher cost is the discharge funnel pipe you mentioned. That was pretty expensive. We'll have it on the dyno soon, so we'll see how much of a difference it makes.

Our kit is basically the complete upper pipe, the discharge funnel, and part of the lower pipe (I guess you can call it that). You're right on the pricing though. We're going to try to get it down to the $450 range.

Thanks!

Here is a picture of the complete T1R IC pipe kit:

It's the complete upper pipe, the discharge funnel pipe, and the lower pipe going to the throttle body.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Price wise, you guys are absolutely correct. We're going to talk to the factory and get the price reduced to a more reasonable level.

And for hell of it, here is a pic of a one off purple sample that we received. Anyone interested? LOL

Nice looking kit, I like that discharge funnel. You don't really except to pick much up powerwise with it do you?

Not too sure about the discharge funnel. It is a very popular mod in Japan though. We'll find out for sure when we get the car on the dyno in a few weeks.
