Video of Reflash Tune and Buschur Cat Back on a X
I wanted to share this video of a Evo X that came here last week for a Ecutek reflash and a installation of a Buschur cat back exhaust system
We were really happy with the fit on the Buschur exhaust fits on the car. The sound is just right. Not too loud, yet sporty enough to give you the right "feel" on the car and make it sound like a sports car when you get on the gas.
The X's continue to respond very well to basic modifications.
Here is the video

cat back arents that loud on this car. the stock cat muffles ALOT of sound. The exhaust we built for my car is just straight pipe with 1 bend a straight through muffler and it was very quiet with the stock cat. Once we put the cat in, it got very loud

I have driven X's with the full turbo back Buschur set up and an off road or test pipe. With the single Bullet style muffler the sound was still quiet enough not to be unpleasant in the cockpit and carry on normal conversation.

Yea, Buschur catback FTW . Thanks for the video man but I know plenty of ladies who like the 8 and 9 as well. "Maybe I can convince my wife to let me get one" ...I loled.

I am going to expose here to the ralli art lancer version as I think that one will be the hot ticket for her in the late fall.

My wife was so inspired by the X and its hot looks that she when out this evening driving my '05 STI with 560 whp. After she confronted the harsh realities of a built motor with big cams and a exdey triple ceramic clutch driving through stop and go rush hour traffic she was less interested in driving around my cars. Her town & country mini van was calling her back to its auto trans and numerous cup holders by the end of the ride.

The typical Evo 8 - IX base line is 230 - 250 range on our dyno depending on the individual car, fuel used and climatic conditions.. IX's are usually towards the high side of that range.
