e-autosports's Evo X + Okada Projects + Blitz
Hi Guys,
We have received some new products for our EVO X from the mails last week. Okada ignition coil packs and Blitz Carbon section intake system.
The Okada Projects ignition coil packs is the first unit they have ever made for testing. This is the first prototype unit and we are doing the final stage road testing for Okada Projects. Since I have this installed on my car for a week. Car feels very smooth and idle is pretty stable as well. And seem like I gains average 1 to 1.5 miles more mpg per gallon. I will be continued the testing for another month or so before we put them to dyno. Okada Projects will starts production the EVO X coil packs end of the summer.
Blitz Carbon Section intake, this was the first unit being shipped to the USA from Blitz Japan. This intake is awesome. The intake sounds so aggressive and I could hear the BOV sound very clear and car pulls so hard. Since, the JDM EVO X have different size MAF housing and we have to do some modification to installed the intake. Blitz USA has been reported this to Blitz Japan and they are making a US Spec model. Hopefully, we can see the US spec in the market soon.
I'm so glad that I could have chance to run these in my car. These are very well made products and I really feel the different of changed. I can't wait to dyno these. Stay tune

PM me on pricing for the Blitz Carbon Section intake. Also would we have the option to not have the [Blitz] name on the Carbon box? The name is too big on the intake for my taste.

How's that Okada Projects ignition doing for you? I had bought the same product and I definitely feel a smoother power band and see a better gas mileage increase but my service engine light had went off. Did this happen to you? And if so what did you do to resolve it? I have already made sure everything is hooked up correctly (as you know, its not rocket science - install is pretty easy) so I'm just wondering what has happened. It couldn't be a misfire issue because you would see and hear that....would you have any ideas? Thanks.

I never have CEL issue on my car. But I do recommends to install new spark plugs at the same time be sure to disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes.
A set of new spark plugs should taking care of the problem
