Is the OEM setup not sufficient?

No one knows yet... no one has the power nor has beat the **** outta the X yet on a blistering hot summer track day w/ an ample amount of horsepower.

Power ranges at the track so far is somewhere between 275 ish to around 350 whp, maybe 1-2 in the low 400 range. (that actually track there car) and not Dyno queens.

I am going to "assume" the stock radiator will be sufficient to a certain point, but this is just a little insurance to me. Some may like it, others may not.

LOL, I am no vendor... Nor am I trying to sell something here.

I am an EVO X Owner, letting the EVO X Community know about a product I took my time to help get developed and into production.

There is a difference.

Call Charles @ PWR for more information, it's Thicker but I believe the Length and Height are almost the exact same

PWR vs Koyo....

That's a good question, I used both, and never a problem with any.

I know, and I've had many overheating issues. For example, at the Miller RTA, I could only run 1 lap before the coolant would overflow, all over the engine bay and the side of the car. I've been waiting for a radiator for months, talked with CBRD, but Chad couldn't give me a date.

Thanks for posting the info, I just wish I could get one sooner, Im at Road Atlanta this weekend and its soooo hot here Anyone know how to get one sooner?

You can try runing 2 bottles of Redline water wetter with 100% water mix to get a little more cooling out of the stock setup. Seems like that all aluminum radiator would be good insurance expecially once you start bolting up a thicker front mount intercooler that blocks a little more airflow. It's also possible that if you run higher boost for 20 min+ on the track that you are lifting your head slightly under extreme heat and pressure which will cause a similar problem with fluid being pushed out of the cooling system. ARP headstuds usually work well to prevent this situation since the stock head bolts can stretch slightly... this happened on my Eclipse early on and was a real pita to diagnose until it got worse.

I am running the Water/Water Wetter combo, have a fresh flush in the car now, this weekend should be a great test in the GA heat. We tested for head gasket and found nothing, even after a multitude of pulls on the dyno beating the car, it was good. It has been much better lately, the track temps at Miller were 116+ for the T/A....I think that was the main factor for the overheating that weekend. Who knows.
