Ultimate Racing downpipe with o2 housing
Anybody put on a ultimate racing downpipe with there integrated o2 housing. Here is what i found out about the stock downpipe. Everybody on here is complaining about the ticking noise coming from the engine bay while i was installing my forge wga i removed the heatshield to find a big black spot on it from an exhaust leak at where the downpipe meets the stock 02 housing so people with the tick should check that out on there cars. So my question is will the stock cat mate up with the ur downpipe and o2 housing gonna replace the stock downpipe cause of the exhaust leak.

I got mine ceramic coated to keep the heat out of the engine bay as much as possible. I have a test pipe but looking at it it should mate up fine to the stock cat as the stock cat is a simple 2 bolt flange. Why would you keep the stock cat?

Our Evo X O2 Housing Downpipe is designed as a stock replacement for both the OEM O2 Housing and OEM Downpipe.
That being said, it will fit the OEM catalytic converter, as well as any other direct fitment cat replacement pipe like our Evo X Test Pipe, and Evo X High-Flow Cats.

Just to add to the discussion, the large OEM heatshield can still be fitted with our O2 Housing Downpipe installed

Yes, thats the one. Thanks for clarifying that. When I had to remove and install it back to get to my wastegate I ended up with clicking noises because the Heat Shield was not bolted down tight enough. It doesn't just bolt to the manifold, but to the downpipe as well so that it wraps around it securely. I'm just concerned that if there aren't spots to bolt down the Heat Shield like the OE downpipe, then it might make some unwanted noise from the Heat Shield.
