Other than the turbo you didn't really add anything that will provide more power. At the sub 400whp number I don't think your ported EM or dump did anything.

Besides... we all know the stock 9 turbo can spike to high HP numbers but wont hold it. The red will actually hold the boost and power. If anything the area under the curve and the overall feel should be much better. A number is only a number. Does the car feel better or not?

If you really want to see what it has in it.... just dump some C16 in the tank and crank it up. No need for head studs and cams all you need is octane. There are arseloads of people running near 30psi on stock parts without issue.
to me, it doesnt feel that much different....but that may be just me...my friend and my g/f said they could tell a big difference....i just dunno man

Imo the numbers seem low, but thats just basing it on what I have seen from other members. Also, the trq seems a good bit higher than most, especially on only 23 psi. Dynojet hp- it may be low numerically, but if it drives fine and or traps well if you run it, then I'd be satisfied.

Cams will make huge difference. You'll break the 400whp mark easy with a good tune and cams. Especially if you get a bigger cam that can allow that turbo to breathe. Get some Cossie M2's and you'll be in real good shape.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the stock EVO9 cams are so restrictive..... they are comparable to EVO8 HKS 272 cams.

All this guy needs is race gas.

What loads are you seeing when logging at 26psi?

I wouldn't even dick with headstuds at sub 30psi levels. The stock hardware is very solid. Cracking the seating of the head gasket doing a 1x1 replacement is asking for trouble.

LOL.. While reading this post I was thinking to myself "when did FP make a Red for the X?!"... Checked what the OP drives and thought I stumbled into the wrong forum. Anyways, good luck with your ride!

If anyone can help, I just tuned my car with the FP RED Turbo but I'm having the crazyest boost creep. The car will not stop at the tuning psi level. I'm running right now at 30psi which is not good. I need to opinions.

Exclamation

At 30psi on pump gas and meth, I'm maiking well over 510whp but which is not good because I have a stock block. The tuner didn't want to full tune it because the boost couldn't be control. I spoke to Force Performance and they told me the check my 02 housing or to port out the turbo.
