If you replace something that is bigger than the original, then it will weigh more.

Any info on why the ARC is just barely larger than the OEM while HKS is like almost double the size?

I obviously don't know the differences/key points to look at here ... but I know there's more to an intercooler than just size/volume.

I'm looking at getting either the ARC or the HKS ... just confused as to the different approaches by each company

imho its a wash on a stock Turbo
i think they will perform similarly but the ETS is fockin hooooge
BARLEY fits between beam and condenser "

what kinda stuff should i be looking for on this chart? just the biggest volume numbers. my long term goal is 500 so what would work best for me? Its always cheaper to buy something once than to have to buy something again because the first one wasnt good enough.

^Nice chart, I haven't seen DTM's IC yet. I'm either going with the ETS 4" or the BR.

Its not for sale on their website as far as Ive seen. I called Nick @ DTM directly.
If you search in this particular section of the forum, you'll find a thread all about the intercooler.

I highly recommend the ETS intercooler. It was what allowed me to make 340whp 360wtq.

It appears the Ultimate Racing core might be something worth looking at. 25whp and 4wtq gain with no tuning and stock upper and lowerpipes.
