I am getting sick and tired of this car! It seems like i get a different code every month. The more i drive it the more problems it has.

SAWC has been off for a week now. Temp has been about -20C to -30C. I do belive that SAWC turn off when the temp are very low or high to prevent damage to the unit. This issue is stating to bug me. Any one else have any imput on "SAWC Service Required" light?? I parked the car in a heated garage for a few hours but nothing changed.

Today the car threw new 2 codes. P0222 and P1234. I was driving about 50 - 60Km/h and i decided to pass some one. I down shifted in to 4 gear and gave it some gas, then the codes popped up. I tried clearing the trouble codes, but it does not clear out. Has anyone encounted these codes???

Dealer is 2.5 hours away from me right now, so i can't take it to them right now. I really dont want to take my car to the local dealer since they hate me already.

Previous Codes: P1870, P1235, P0135. I have yet to encounter these codes since last month.

Mods: Nisei UICP, Intake pipe (stock air box), T1R test pipe.

The car only has 9000km

P0222 - Throttle/Petal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Low Input
P1234 - Fuel system???

Has any one encounted these problem? Is there a fix for them?

That does not help. From previous codes i got such as P1235 is a overBoost code. A generic P1235 code states that there is a problem with the fuel system. Overboost would lead to having not enough fuel. This will create a confusion on what the true problem is. This is why i am asking other evo owners for help.

The temp is in celsius which is about -4F to -13F. -22F is when it is really bad.

So far the codes are still off. So thats good. But the SAWC Service Required is still on.

Ya I know it's in C. It doesn't matter, when you get to -20 to -30 anything that's damn cold.

Remember I'm wearing shorts today here in Dallas.

Hey... for what it's worth, I live in Edmonton, and it's almost as cold as out there in Regina... anyways, I had an issue with the SAWC system once too... When I thought I'd be nice and let the ol' lady park her (ugh... Compass) in the underground while Evo stayed outside... Anyways, when I went to drive back to Calgary, it wouldn't let me switch between the modes... but, after turning it on and off in Red Deer, it cleared itself...

Are you sure that the rest of your codes aren't because of the test pipe? I've heard of all sorts of issues resulting from changing out the stock cat...

O i was just clarifying. You guys are lucky to get the good weather.

Ya, I might take the test pipe off and see how the car performs.

I did not touch the throttlebody nor have i modified any coolant lines. I only change the rubber intake pipe to a solid al pipe.
