my drop in filter just got here today and, flew to the auto store all excited picked it up came home and well... dropped it in!! felt the difference right away, so i took a quick drive to my buddies pad and when i drove away he called me and said that when i passed by his house he saw white smoke coming out of my exhaust and that it left a rotten smell in the air like sulfer???? so now i'm freaking out.. WHATS UP WITH THE WHITE SMOKE PRETTY SURE ITS NOT GOOD?????????any1

after switching it back to the stock filter pretty much did the same thing as far as color of smoke and amount... and it was cold out probably 28 29degrees at the time we did the drives, makes the most amount of sense, the weather factor... i mean it just dont add up that a drop in filter would have anything to do with 1. the color of the smoke coming out of the exhaust& 2. the smoke in general... regardless the dealer idea is more than likely the thing to do, right on man

As long as you leave your MAF attached you will run into no issues simply dropping the cone filter in. The MAF will adjust for the additional air flow.
