Official Evolution X Exhaust Thread

Why do you think that single exit is bad for a car designed for dual? All the top racers have gone to single exit on their X's including tanner foust and ryan gates.
I don't think it really matters. Especially with a tune. But maybe you know something I don't.

I like the look of the UR system. Haven't heard it though. Afraid it might be as loud as my Buschur. I would think something with two real mufflers would be best for me. Another consideration is ground clearance. Returning the mufflers to the stock location and not having any other resonators will help a lot. Also, single exit is no good on a car designed for dual (even if it is a 4 cyl). that's just my opinion though.

No, performance wise, single exit is fine. I just think it looks dumb on a car made for two outlets .

hmm... I would consider the T1R. How does the Speed Circuit smooth sound? I love those tips. My Buschur sounds mean as hell on the track, but it's annoying not be able to sneak in anywhere. (work, weddings, etc, etc.)

Same price?? Are you seriously considering running an upgraded turbo on the stock exhaust? I think a little research on the necessary supporting mods for an upgraded turbo may be in order. Also don't forget about tune / install.

I'd do the install, and I'd have to get a tune for both since I'm running an edgy tune as it is. All I need is injectors (thinking FIC 900) for an FP green since the fuel pump will keep up unless we get super aggressive. There is another MR around that is running a green on a stock exhaust with a high flow cat (which I have as it is). So a few more hundred for supporting parts (injectors). Also I have a way to get the green for a little cheaper than estimated price.
