Had the Ultimate Racing catback with mini muffler installed. Drove about 50 miles. Not what I would term obtrusive in the cabin. No droning. Actually, not as loud as the TBE I have on my GTI. No trouble listening to my music. Final verdict will come after a nice break in and many more miles, but so far I really like it. May, in time, even get a resonated mid-pipe. Not happy about the uneven tip length, but it's not a major issue as far as I'm concerned. Other than that oddity, my installer said it's the best quality catback he's ever installed.

Injen SES TT video has been added. Thanks to Jerry at Injen for the quick responses and useful information. The exhaust appears to be of quality, check out the video and pics (located on page 1).

Tip misalignment caused by improper installation of one of the pieces, not any quality problem at Ultimate racing. Easy to make mistake but unfortunate.

I've been looking at that as well, my only concern is it looks like it hangs low and it also may be louder than I would like, even with resonator.

ah yes! i've been waiting for someone to bite on the injen ses for a while! couple that with an aftermarket 3" midpipe and you've got a 3" Ti exhaust, routed like stock, well below the cost of the competition! i think i might just bite...!

aye, but what i'm talking about is how it's routed from the midpipe. the one i have (magnaflow), erz, buschur, and a few others with a big canister in the back is usually routed from the side. the T1R 76S is the only one i find close to stock routing, with a pair of Ti tipes, but at $1100 shipped, i couldn't justify the cost. with this, though...

i personally would like to buy a known brand... bt with cheap price and a good hp gain .. i cant jst go with a cheap cbe if the brand is nt known and theres no hp gain ... bt mostly of the cbe for our x r really expensive ... having a X that doesnt mean im rich ...

now ... everything is getting expensive... and bcoz the economy is still down ... ill probably route 4 the cheaper cbe ...

is erz a good brand ? and if u r going to compare this 2 cbe which one would u go for ...

can someone advice me on this one plz.
I'm looking at the biggest tip available in dual exhaust for my car. I would also want this exhaust to have blue tip. I prefer the exhaust to be big enough for the 2 holes...

I guess this will come across as a dumb question, but what is the true approximately WHP increase for a TBE with high flow cat? I see XX HP claims for this piece, XX HP claims for that piece, which might lead one to believe 30-35 HP. I would like to know realistic expectations.
