This might be asking too much, but is there a dB chart out for any of the common systems? I was thinking of making one, but want to see what already exists. I really can't tell much difference in video clips, even with headphones. Honestly most will sound totally different anyway once you put them on a car with a testpipe and cams. I'm still looking for a 'stealth' system that won't restrict me at 600bhp. I like Perrin, but don't know if it'll be quiet enough for me. The neighbors hear me coming for miles with the Buschur.

^That is a good idea. To my knowledge I don't know of a decibel chart that has been made for these exhaust systems. That would be helpful.

Why do all the evo x exhausts sound like trash? I am trying hard to like the x, but it's difficult. Lack of a good sounding exhaust complicates this even further.

Does anyone know of a x exhaust that sounds like a 4g63 with a 3" turboback? (I had megan racing on all 3 of my past evos & their exhausts just sounded so good on the 4g63)...

At this point, if I was to get a x and upgrade the exhaust, I'd want it to be super quiet, because from most of what I've heard here the thing sounds like a neon and I hate that!

You know, that one actually sounds pretty decent, and it's not dual exhaust- big plus! Any others that sound close to a 4g63 like this exhaust?

TIA!

so on UR's website they have 3 options with there dual tip CBE, a mini muffler, resonator and the standard, now would the standard be just an open pipe which would obviously be the loudest option?

That is correct the standard is just a straight pipe with no resonators or anything, all straight pipe until the two small mufflers on the axle back section, so yes the loudest option they offer. I am actually going to be purchasing this exhaust this next week.

Wow there's so many of them. What gives out the most HP and less noise? Thanks.

All 3" are about the same, some of the duals equate to 3" since they start out as 3". So as long as you get 3" you'll get the same gains more or less. Quiet ones include Perrin, Blitz C-Ti, Greddy SE (not 3"), Fujitsubo.

I'm also looking for an exhaust that isn't super loud or raspy.

I have recently taken an interest in the ETS V2, any feedback on that exhaust?

Before that I was looking at the Buschur crossflow, but I have heard rumors of the packing breaking down after a couple thousand miles.

ETS V2 is quite loud, so make sure you're ready for that. It's not raspy though.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

I guess I back to weighing the Buschur crossflow and possibly the Fuji legalis R
