Official Evolution X Exhaust Thread

Got the UR turbo-back installed.. minus the downpipe. (straight pipes, no cat/mufflers) I have to take it to a different shop because my local guy didn't want to be held liable for unbolting it from the turbo incase bolts got snapped off in it or something.
Anyhow.. it is incredible. If you want the meanest and most aggressively loud exhaust, this is it. =D But at highway speeds it is the same noise level as my stock exhaust.. I almost started laughing because I thought it was going to be unbearable. But when you step on it at any speed, it roars. The fitment is very good, and it almost looks factory. And yes, it spits fire. ^_^
Videos will follow soon after I get the downpipe installed in the next few weeks.

Any 3" exhaust is going to have about the same gains until the 800+whp level. So really it boils down to what you feel is the best value for your money. Quality material? Warranty? Reputation? Weight? Noise level? Single / Dual / Quad?
In my opinion, what you can get a Perrin catback for, and the quality you get, it's the best exhaust for me. I prefer quiet, warranty, quality materials, and customer service.

im leaning toward the ETS v2 catback...for those of you who have it or have heard it IN PERSON, exactley how loud is this system during normal driving? can a conversation be held w/o raising ur voice? also...is there bad highway drone? thanks alot

LOL good question for the guys here. I was considering the GReddy Ti-C because it looked hot and was affordable. Ended up going for the HKS Hi-Power dual tip catback though when I realised it wasn't too much more exp. But single tip doesn't look too bad.

Where did you find your exhaust on the website? I can't find your exact version with no mufflers. Do you have any vids of in-car highway cruising? I'd like to hear if there is any drone

i went tomei the other day actually, i wish the track was still open so i could give you some numbers. but it fit awsome and the weight reduction i can pass up. even with the test pipe its not that load. i am plzed

The fast takeoff video has fire at the very end, but you can hardly see it because it's too far away. In the original you can see it better. But, I'll have to take some night videos when I have some time and I'll post them.

i have it. i love the sound on the TRACK, hate it everywhere else. its cheap, light, best flowing on the market in my opinion, also well built and lifetime guarantee. i think this is the loudest exhaust for the x, you can also get it without a muffler and a quick change to a muffler for a bit more $. my only complaint is that the tip is held on by a clamp, not bolts through flanges like a testpipe to the catback or something like that. it came apart on me last year but i should've kept an eye on it. oh yeah, the tip looks better than any other, its not that stupid fart can look like so many other exhausts out there
