Glad you're happy with your purchase.
As far as the db reading... what method was this done at? The way we measure db's here is by regulation which is by using the SAE1169 method. This method is done at a 45 degree angle to the exhaust tip and 20" back. The test is done at 4500 rpm on EVO's. We have a "tool" that we made for doing this so its accurate on each system.
For those looking for a sound clip.... here are some clips a customer of ours made and posted on the Evo X forums.

What method? The stand behind the car where you would be standing if you were behind it and looking at the exhaust with the meter pointed toward the car at eye level about 5 and half off the ground for me,,,,method. So it isn't like I stuck the meter in the exhaust pipe if that is what you are thinking, I basically metered from where you would normally hear the exhaust from, cuz I am not going to put my head down by the pipe.
Im not saying it isnt that loud and im not saying it is. We havent metered it to my knowledge so I can not say for sure what the correct reading is. I was just curious is all.
I will have to measure one when I get a car in here with the Bullet. We run the Magnaflow on our car. I do know the Bullet is substantially louder than the Bullet though. If I was putting the system on my own car I would go Magnaflow option for sure.
Thank you for your support and we're glad you're pleased with your purchase.

Not a problem. You're welcome!
I was asking because there is a "specific" test method that is used for the db testing. Standing directly behind the car dead on is going to be louder than being "offset" and behind it.

I am not staying that it is exactly that loud either. My main point is the fact that it is louder then an LS1 w/no cats. That is what I am really getting at. Who knows how accurate my db meter is, it is a home audio meter. Now another friend of mine has a termlab, which I could get ahold of and really see what the numbers are.
Well with the sound determined the important question is.... who won?

I live in a small town, and a lot of the cops are car guys. One of the sheriff's deputies pulled me over in a supermarket parking lot. I thought he was going to give me hell, but he asked 'is that the new EVO? we ended up talking for about 30 minutes about cars, and rice, and the local punks that take the mufflers off their momma's accord. I am a bit older, 33.

Here's a video of mine revving. The bullet version is definitely loud, but sounds great.
